These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of bariatricpaths.com and the content we share through the Bariatric Paths Podcast, YouTube channel, newsletter, blog, social media, and community (together, "Bariatric Paths"). Bariatric Paths is run by Bariatric Paths LLC in Georgia, United States.
By using this website, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Not medical advice
Bariatric Paths shares stories, education, and encouragement. Nothing on this website, the podcast, or any Bariatric Paths channel is medical, nutritional, or mental health advice. It does not replace care from your doctor, surgeon, dietitian, therapist, or other qualified provider. Always talk with your care team before making changes to your health, diet, medication, or exercise.
Our host is a bariatric patient, not a clinician. Guests share their own experiences and opinions. A guest's views are their own and do not mean Bariatric Paths endorses them.

Using our content
Everything on this site, including text, episodes, images, logos, and designs, belongs to Bariatric Paths or the people who shared it with us. It is protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may read, listen, watch, and share links to our content for personal use. You may not copy, republish, sell, or change our content without our written permission. "Bariatric Paths" and our logo are our trademarks.
Journalists and media partners may use the photos and descriptions on our Press and Media page for coverage of Bariatric Paths.
What you send us
When you fill out a form or email us, you agree that the information you give is accurate and that you have the right to share it.
If you apply to be a guest, sending an application does not guarantee you will be featured. Guests who are selected sign a separate guest release before recording.
If you share a story, comment, or idea with us, you allow us to use it to run and improve Bariatric Paths. We will not share your personal story publicly without your permission.
Community conduct
In any Bariatric Paths space, including our private Facebook group, comments, and events, we ask that you:
- Treat others with respect. No shaming, bullying, or harassment.
- Keep other members' stories private.
- Don't give medical advice or sell products, programs, or services without our permission.
- Don't post anything illegal, hateful, or harmful.
We may remove content or members that break these rules.
Sponsors and outside links
Some content is sponsored. We label sponsored content. Sponsors do not control what we say, and a sponsorship is not a medical recommendation.
We link to outside websites for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices.
Events
Bariatric Paths events may have their own terms, which we will share when you register. Unless those terms say otherwise:
- Event tickets and fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Events may be photographed or recorded. By attending, you agree we may use photos and video from the event in Bariatric Paths promotions.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep our content accurate, but we don't promise it is complete, current, or error-free. This website is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will always be available or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Bariatric Paths LLC and its team are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from your use of this website or our content, or from relying on anything you read, watch, or hear from us.
